Here are a few images from the historic Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. My favorite comedian growing up was Jerry Lewis. His classic The Bellboy remains one of my favorites - the movie was filmed entirely in the Fontainebleau in 1960. The hotel was designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus in 1954 and is an iconic symbol of Miami's modern movement. The outdoor images were captured with my Zeiss 21mm wide angle lens which is a superb architecture lens for its outstanding sharpness. After a few weeks of rain we finally got some sunshine!
Couldn't resist the black & white conversion with this strong back lit scene.
